The Yoga World Welcomes You!

No experience necessary, yoga does not discriminate.  =)

Yoga is an ancient practice that helps the body and mind focus as one. Through guided movement and breathing, yoga allows the body and mind to work in unison - creating balance, happiness and stress relief.

We offer a range of practices and to all different levels. Many of our classes are conducted in a heated room. Hot yoga is designed to warm and stretch the muscles. The postures move in sequence and allow the body to gradually work up to its full potential.

What class to take?

If you are new to yoga, we recommend Warm Foundation or Hot Foundation.
These classes will move a little bit slower with the teacher going in to more depth explaining the poses and their purpose.

Do I need to book ahead?

We encourage everyone to show up 20-30 minutes before class start time.
Another option is to sign-in online. How to do this? Simple create an online profile and you can reserve a spot up to 7 days in advance. A current membership does need to be active in our system before reserving. Our doors open 30 minutes before class. Feel free to come early to settle in and relax before class.
Can you book online with our Unlimited Month at $39? Yes! =)

What to bring?

A yoga mat, a towel, and some water.
No worries if you do not have these items.  Yoga mats and towels are available to rent for $1, and water is also sold for $1.

Arriving to the studio:

- Please arrive to class at least 20-30 minutes early. This will allow you sign in, handle any payment, beat the busy rush, but most importantly, settle in and relax before class.
- We start classes on time and do not allow people to come into class late.
- Our capacity is 36 people in the hot room. Please arrive early =)
- We have full change rooms and showers, but no lockers. Please leave all valuables in your car or at home.

Inside the yoga room:

- Please respect silence and peace. No talking in the yoga room (whispering counts as talking). Be mindful of those coming early to enjoy the additional silence.
- Line up the top center of your yoga mat with the white stickers on the floor - allowing for proper spacing between you and your neighbor.
- All you need is a yoga mat, a towel, and some water, please leave all other belongings in the change room or in your car.
- No cell phones allowed in the yoga room.

Recommendations:

 - Stay hydrated through-out the day for hot yoga, start drinking water in the morning and as the day progresses. Also stay hydrated after yoga.
- Caffeine is not recommended before yoga.
- Eat light before yoga, too much food before yoga might cause an upset stomach. Also limits movement. It is not recommended to eat within one hour of practicing Yoga.
- If you are new to yoga - start with Foundation.

Age Limits:

- Minimum age to practice in a hot studio is 16, with parental/guardian signature. Teens that have not fully gone through puberty will have under-developed sweat glands. This brings the risk of over-heating.
